Our babies are home!

Savannah came home first on Monday, November 2nd. It was hard to leave Alex at the hospital while taking Savannah home. The following Friday, November 6th, we got to take Alex home. It was hard week finding babysitters for Savannah while visiting and taking care of Alex. So it was such a relief when we finally took Alex home. It has been an adventure having them both home. I do have them on the same eating and sleeping schedule which makes taking care of them both easier. Jason also has been such a good dad and helping me out a ton. We both just love having these precious new additions to our family.

Alex and Savannah finally home together.

They love being back together again!
Add Image Playtime, storytime, and tummytime. They loved playing with the keys. It was so cute to watch. I read them their first story today. It was I am a child of God. It sure was fun reading to them. Tummytime didn't last too long because they got unhappy but they lifted their heads and legs.

They are always crawling out of their little bed. She is trying to find her brother and he does the same thing, he wants to find his sister. I can't wait til we can hold them together. They will love to be back together again.

We're Expecting.....Twins!!

Jason and I are expecting twins! I am 17 1/2 weeks along. We are thrilled! We get to find out the genders of the twins on the July 14th. I am really excited for the new adventure. We can't wait. We are due on December 4th. However, the doctor told us that twins come three to four weeks early, so we will have them sometime in November. Sorry for the delay. Life has been really busy with some added morning sickness. Overall, Life is Wonderful!

It all works out.

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. If you do your best, it will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us...If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."-Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

I love this quote and it really made an impact on me and my life at the moment. Jason was diagnosed with cancer this last week and I recently just recovered from a major surgery. I feel that we have been and are going through a lot but I know that Heavenly Father is looking out for us and he does have our best interest in heart. I am know that he will answer our prayers and that Jason will be healed from the cancer. I am so grateful for the gospel and the joy that it brings into our lives.

My Star!

My friend Chanelle named a star after me. It is called Tami Ann. It was so thoughtful. The idea is awesome. Also did I mention that it is free. You can go to this website and name a star after someone you know.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Jason and I stayed home to avoid the crowds. It was a wonderful day. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband. I love him! He is the best! He gave me a wonderful gift and each gift he wrote something that he loved about me. It was so thoughtful. I made him a card that was a decorated Chinese box with foam fortune cookies. It was cute. I put little sayings in all the fortunes. I also put on the box "I am so fortunate to have you" I also gave him candy and a movie. Then I made him a Chinese theme dinner to candlelight. I made ham fried rice, orange chicken and pot stickers. It was so yummy. Then for the dessert I attempted my first made from scratch cheesecake. It was a white truffle raspberry cheesecake. If you want the recipe go here. It is a copy cat of the Cheesecake Factory Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake. I was super excited when I took it out of the oven and it did not crack in the middle. Looked great and tasted amazing. Here are some pictures of the card and cheesecake. The one with the card and the candy bowl, Jason won the candy bowl because he had the closest guess for a contest at work :)

The Latest Projects!

I have been working on a few projects lately. My friends and sister-in-law are all having babies so I have been making things for them. It has been a lot of fun. I have made a few for myself but it is for the future. I also have made a Disney baby girl patchwork quilt. It is still in the works. I will post pictures when I am done with that one. I will get to do a lot more projects now that I will have four weeks off of work due to recovering from surgery. That will occupy my time. That is good. So here are some pictures!

My friends and I made magnets one day. Super Fun!

The Events of December and January

Things that we did in December,

Mormon Tabernacle Concert- It was an awesome way to start out the Christmas Season. We got the eighth row at the concert. You could actually see the performers faces. Then we went and saw the Lights at Temple Square. The lights and all the different nativities were very beautiful.

Jazz Game-Our friends invited us to go to the Jazz game with them. We went to Rumbi grill first and then went to the game. Although the Jazz lost, it was still a blast.

Desert Star Playhouse- Jason and I really enjoy going to see the plays at Desert Star. We saw the Miracle of 42nd Street. It was really funny and clever.

Sledding- We went sledding after one of the big storms that we had. It was so much fun. I was going down the hill and I saw this kid in my way so I spun out of control and I ran into another kid and he flew over the top of me. I felt really bad. It had been awhile since I had been sledding. Lots of fun!

Parties- My family had their annual Christmas Eve candlelight dinner. It is one of my favorite traditions. We eat a big turkey dinner, open presents, enjoy each other's company and watch It is a Wonderful Life!(My all time-favorite Christmas movie) Then on Christmas Day, my extended side of my mom's family come over for a party and gift exchange. It was nice to see my cousins that live out of town at the party.
Jason's family had their annual Christmas Day Party. We just eat, talk and open gifts. It was wonderful to get together with the whole family. There is about 30 of us.

Christmas Day-Jason and I had a wonderful Christmas. We got up and opened presents that we gave each other. We mainly gave each other clothes, perfume and cologne, and other little things. We then made biscuits and gravy for breakfast and then we were off to all the family parties. Busy day for us.

New Year's Eve- Jason and I both had the day off, so we went to the Cheesecake factory for lunch. Then we went to wish his friend Mo, a Happy Birthday. Then we went to Jason's family party in Heber. We played Scene it, Liars Dice and Trains. It was a good time. Of course, there was more food to eat. Then we went to my family's party. We played games and talked with each other.

Other News- Jason is on a business trip for two weeks. I am really going to miss him. I hope it goes by fast. Side note: He took the camera and so I don't have pictures to post. I will post them when he gets back.

Well I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
